ALLOY WHEEL STRIPPING & SHOT BLASTING
ARE YOU WORRIED ABOUT YOUR ALLOYS? WE CAN FIX IT FOR YOU
There is nothing to worry about if your alloy wheel has corroded over time due to stone chips, kerb damage as well as through regular driving. However, if the minor damage is not treated at the right time then it slowly transforms into corrosion which can lead to dangerous consequences in the future. That being said, if your alloy wheels are in bad condition then do not worry because we can fix it to make sure you can drive again with a peace of mind. We have been in this for a long time and our knowledge and advanced methods can restore your alloy back to its original condition. We also advise our clients to avoid unnecessary cost of replacing the entire wheel if it is not required since the damage can be repaired at a lower cost.
During the powder coating process, shot blasting is used to key the set surface for adhesion. Shot blasting is very significant as it helps in removing the loose paint, rust, scale and corrosion with the help of an abrasive substance through a jet nozzle under force from compressed air. After the surface has been treated then it becomes fit for coating it again with Spray painting or Powder Coating.
We also follow another technique for removing corrosion and paint by soaking the alloy in a highly concentrated acid. This method is perfect when you want your wheels to be painted in a different colour. We have a wide range of colours for our clients to find their favourite shade that they want in their wheels.
